ISSUE 009: Monitor NO Display
Step 1: Check Power Connection
-
Verify Power Cable: Make sure the monitor is plugged into a working power outlet.
-
Check Power Button: Ensure the monitor is turned on; look for an indicator light.

Step 2: Inspect Cables
-
Check Video Cable: Ensure the video cable (HDMI, VGA, DVI, etc.) is securely connected to both the monitor and the computer.
-
Test with Another Cable: If possible, try using a different video cable to rule out any faults.

Step 3: Test the Monitor
-
Connect to Another Device: Plug the monitor into a different computer or laptop to see if it displays anything.
-
Use a Different Monitor: Connect a different monitor to your computer to check if the issue lies with the computer itself.
Step 4: Adjust Input Source
-
Change Input Settings: Use the monitor’s buttons to cycle through input sources (like HDMI, VGA) and ensure the correct one is selected.

Step 5: Restart the Computer
-
Perform a Restart: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve display issues.
Step 6: Check for Overheating
-
Feel the Monitor: Ensure the monitor isn’t overheating. If it feels hot, let it cool down before trying again.
